Your batch file must be in a CSV (comma separated values) format.
- A CSV file is a text file, which stores the details of the individuals or organisations that you are going to scan, in a specific format with each field separated by a comma (,).
- CSV files can be created, viewed and edited using either a plain text editor (e.g. Notepad or Notepad++) or a spreadsheet application (e.g. Microsoft Excel).
- If you use a spreadsheet application to create your file, always make sure it is saved as a CSV file with correct format. Because these applications may change the data format it is recommended to use a text editor or review the final file via a text editor prior to scanning.
- CSV files should contain a header row at the beginning of the file.
- CSV files should not contain any blank rows at the end of the file.
