Sapphire Person Batch File Format
- Each line of the file is one record (details of one individual).
- First line of the file is header row (FirstName,MiddleName,LastName,OriginalName,Gender,DOB,Country).
Script. Original Script is a name in any Non-Latin/Roman based language, such as Cyrillic, Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese etc...
- First Name and Last Name OR
- Original Script
- Middle Name is optional
- Gender is optional. The valid values are Male or Female.
- Date of Birth is optional. The valid format is DD/MM/YYYY or YYYY
- Country is optional.
The order of the fields in your batch file is important. You can leave optional fields blank but you still need to include the commas to demarcate the blank fields.
Due Diligence - optional
- Reference Number is mandatory and contains number and digit up to 50 characters.
Whitelist Policy - optional
When rescanning a Name with a particular Reference Number, the Whitelist Policy can be used to eliminate match results for matches previously determined to be false positives.
Organisation Batch File Format
- Each line of the file is one record (details of one organisation).
- First line of the file is header row (Name,Country).
- Name (Organisation Name) is required
- Country is optional
- The order of fields in your batch file is important. You can leave optional fields blank but you still need to include the commas to demarcate the blank fields.
- If the Name contains any punctuation, the Name must be enclosed in double quotes, for example. a company named Orange Growers Co Ltd in France. If the name is written as Orange Growers Co., Ltd. the batch file record should look like this: "Orange Growers Co., Ltd",France
Due Diligence - optional

How to Upload and Scan your Batch File
First, select your batch file, the type can be either PERSON or ORGANISATION. Then select the source or lists that you want to check the names against.
After defining the scan parameters (Match Rate, Due Diligence...) click the upload file area and browse and select your CSV batch file to upload.
After verifying the uploaded file, you can Preview the content of the file and if it is correct, click Scan. The results are provided as a Full Report and a Match Report (For details, see above: What happens when I run a Batch File Check?).
In addition, you can view the batch entries for 3 months after conducting your batch to apply decisions and comments.
